Preliminary conference on implementation of tourism development cooperation in the Southeast region in 2023

On December 22, in Xuyen Moc district, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, the Southeast Region Tourism Promotion Conference took place. Attending the conference were Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration; Mr. Le Ngoc Khanh, Vice Chairman of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial People’s Committee; Representatives of the Departments of Culture – Sports – Tourism, the Department of Tourism of the Southeast region and provinces and cities that have cooperative links with the Southeast region. The agreement to link and cooperate in tourism development in the Southeast region for 2020 – 2025 was signed by the leaders of 6 provinces and cities in the Southeast region in 2020. The provinces and cities take turns presiding over the preliminary review of the agreement implementation according to Every year. In 2023, Ba Ria-Vung Tau will be assigned the task of chairing the preliminary review of the region. Looking at the growth figures in tourism in the Southeast region, representatives of localities and businesses in the region all affirmed that the strengths and tourism development potential of the Southeast region are huge. The conference also focused on discussing, exchanging experiences and replicating typical models in implementing the Agreement on Cooperation and Cooperation in Tourism Development in the Southeast region, to promote the implementation of cooperation further and promote the tourism potentials and strengths of each locality in the region.
